Founded by environmental enterprise Treespace as part of a broader regenerative mission to restore our native forests and endemic landscapes, improve biodiversity, and create diverse opportunities for people to participate.

The Settlement
On an elevated hillside above a dynamic village, regenerating alpine forest will provide the backdrop for a future mountainside cabin community. This will be a design-led settlement built from enduring raw materials, on a slope that captures wide views from every cabin taking in the iconic Kimi-ākau (Shotover River), Remarkables and Ben Lomond Mountain.

Your Backyard
We exist in a small town surrounded by big mountains, rivers and lakes. A place steeped in Māori lore and home to a diverse community united in their love for the mountains, with a unique wealth of restaurants, art galleries, retail, film and enterprise for its size.
